One heck of a WE!

I was only two hours away from announcing where the new site was at when I received an email that suggested me the sites were back up.

Our sites, semiologic.com and getsemiologic.com had been blasted off the web by Darrell Ridley.

The latter threatened to change the DNS servers of the domains, which he unlawfully controls since last September, if we refuse to send him money.

The registrar refused to lock the domains in their current state, in spite of my contacting them multiple times.

We’re apparently retrieving the domain names. I might post more details when I’ve the domains on my own account, depending on what Darrell does next.
