Autotag Plugin For WordPress
The autotag plugin for WordPress leverages Yahoo's web services to automatically assign tags to your posts and pages.
Default Usage
Activate the plugin and enjoy.
In the WordPress jargon, tags differ from categories in that they feature no hierarchy. This aspect aside, the main difference between the two relates to how they are entered in the user interface.
Autotag lets you automatically generate tags for your posts and pages.
To use the feature, check the box in the editor once you're done writing your post or page:

Save your post. New tags will automatically be added according to key phrases returned by Yahoo's term extraction web service.
Note that Yahoo's term extraction service will only serve individual IP addresses up to 5,000 times per 24-hours. If you're on a shared host or use this feature too often, you may end up with no additional tags. When this occurs, simply try again 24 hours later.
Also note that by default, WordPress provides no tag support for static pages. When using Semiologic, you can tag pages when either of the Tag Manager or the Silo Web Design features are enabled.

I usually stick to announcing Semiologic Pro updates in the newsletter. Software from this site invariably gets updated at the same time. I sometimes also organize a webinar on what's new around the same date.
