External links, and Google analytics — Semiologic style

In software — Two new plugins.

• The external links plugin for WordPress adds an outgoing link image to the right of each outgoing link on your blog — along with a class="external" attribute.
• The Google analytics plugin for WordPress adds Google analytics to your blog.

As anyone who is familiar with WordPress knows, several versions of these two plugins exist already. And as those who have tried each of them together know, said versions of these two plugins are incomplete or buggy or both at the time. And no two versions of the two plugins worked well together. Until today.
