Firefox gets fragged
Pinned — ZDNet, among other news sites, is reporting that no less than 8 new security holes have been identified in Firefox 1.0.3. No worries, volunteers are flocking to help out — just stay away from untrustworthy web sites.
I cannot resist quoting this comment by a Firefox promotion volunteer:
"The versions of Firefox up to version 1.0.3 have had terrible security risks. (…) I think these security risks have undermined the promise of Firefox as a more secure browser."
It is so silly, and so amusing at the same time. The advent of Firefox security holes… so predictable.

Comments on Firefox gets fragged
I couldn't find anything about that 8 new security vulnerabilities, but certainly Firefox users do not have to worry, as there is not known spyware that affects Firefox.
Anyway, if you compare Secuina reports, you will clearly see who has to worry more:

BBC story where they are mentioned.
I doubt there is any real need to worry too.
Regarding those two links, I think it's worth reminding that many IE vulnerabilities are in fact Windows vulnerabilities. IE is not just a poor product. It's a poor product that contributes to a system's insecurity even when it is not being used. ;)
