take search engines. they have serious trouble finding tiny-font spam and invisible text spam... to put things simply, there are as many ways to bypass simple detection rules as there are spammers.

if it is properly done, the only reasonable way to discover tiny font spam in the end is to use character recognition algorithms on the screen such a spam produces.

alternatively, you can read email as plain text. ;)
