I've never signed up for a website's "premium" content, and I don't plan to. However, I think if those sites offered a low, reasonable micropayment option -say to download a game trailer I really wanted to see or access a certain review section - I'd be much more inclined to opt in. And quite honestly, it's probably the only thing that would make me pay for online content. Note however that technically, a search engine can let you access the information you're looking for. And this is where the use of Micropayments makes sense: It must be low enough (say, a few cents) to discourage the business user to bother conducting the search himself. Me too.
